Outpatient Program

An outpatient treatment program allows alcohol and drug treatment clients the flexibility to work and accomplish recovery goals while residing outside of inpatient facilities.

Outpatient clients are often required to attend sessions at a facility in addition to outside 12 step meetings and case management sessions. Court progress reports, updates, letters of completion, and drug test results are usually provided, as required by the court and attorney.

Clients who require an outpatient program are referred to other facilities and therapists in the Orange County area or close to their work or residence location.

Located in Newport Beach, Orange County California, Sober Living by the Sea provides carefully monitored inpatient treatment programs for alcoholism/drug addiction recovery. At the same time, we play an important role in alternative sentencing programs throughout California and the U.S., by assisting persons needing support and counseling when confronting legal issues, job continuation concerns and family maintenance matters.

Sober Living by the Sea is a licensed and State Certified, Court and Probation-approved drug and alcoholism treatment facility. We send monthly progress reports and urinalysis results to the courts and probation Departments, upon request.

Established in 1986, we operate a long-term residential treatment facility for alcohol and chemically dependent individuals. We have successfully helped hundreds of clients through our program, individuals who have remained clean and sober, and who are now productive members in their communities. We have a staff of 80, with varying levels of academic qualifications (MD, Ph.D, MA, CADC, CACDC, CCGC, CEDC, CADE, CATS).
