The Midwest Regional office of Sober Living by the Sea Treatment Centers services the central United States, including Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee. Located in Kirkwood, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, Sober Living by the Sea - Midwest is easily accessible to Kansas City, MO, Springfield, MO, Columbia, MO, Springfield, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Louisville, Ky, and Memphis, TN.

As the Midwest representatives for Sober Living by the Sea we offer family and workplace interventions, clinical evaluations, and information about the wide range of addiction and recovery treatment programs available at Sober Living by the Sea (including 30-day inpatient and extended care). The Midwest office also has the capacity to refer to local outpatient treatment programs, aftercare programs and therapists and is committed to meeting the needs of each individual client.

Family and Workplace Interventions – We provide intervention training to families, friends, coworkers, and other Mental Health professionals and assist them throughout the entire intervention process. Our professionally facilitated interventions aim to move the family and workplace out of crisis and immediately address treatment for those suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders or other compulsive behaviors.

Clinical Evaluations – We provide clinical evaluations to determine the most appropriate treatment for the individual. Each client receives a thorough diagnostic evaluation to determine the level of treatment required to support his or her recovery program.
The SLBTS Midwest representatives provide full, confidential support throughout the entire process of intervention, evaluation, detox and treatment. We are available to answer any questions you may have and assist you in making informed choices and decisions about treatment options.

Tib Albach


Tib Albach is an eighteen-year veteran of the addictions recovery field. Tib has worked extensively as an assessment and evaluation counselor, facilitating clinical evaluations as well as family and workplace interventions.

Historically Tib has worked as an inpatient/outpatient and aftercare counselor for four reputable treatment facilities (The Cox Medical Centers, Springfield, MO, The Edgewood Program, St. Louis, MO, The Mediplex Corporation’s Clear Pointe Program, Lake Ozark MO, and most recently The Exodus Program, Kirkwood, MO) and enjoys an outstanding reputation for integrity with a professional commitment that always puts the clinical and personal need of the patient first.

Tib is a graduate of the St. Louis Community College’s Chemical Independence Certification Program. Personally Tib has been in 12-step recovery for more than 20 years, a fact often cited as critical when approaching those in need of treatment.
